Have some Korra Krew brotos (bro photos lol) in anticipation of season 2 (pigs will fly and Jesus will come again before we get an airdate ;_;).
In my head this happens right before they leave for the North Pole and they’re goofing around Air Temple Island with a prototype Future Industries camera (let’s just say they had a decent camera, I mean if they had life-altering plastic surgery).
The finished version of this sketch I posted a few days ago. I may have referenced some actual photos with friends for this, Also, I opted for sanity and screencapped the backgrounds.

Official “The Legend of Korra” storyboard artist, Will Ruzicka, posts an update to his deviantart. “As for her hair down. You will see it down in future episodes”. “I like seeing characters change outfits and hairstyles”.
Will Korra be getting a lot of new appearances in the future?
This is literally all I could’ve ever asked for. The only time we’ve seen her hair down is when she was sleeping and oh my god I’m super excited now.

I wanted to draw someone wearing a ceremonial raccoon headpiece and I wanted to draw Korra’s mom because she’s ridiculously adorable. The combination seemed obvious.
That messy hair of hers makes her look so tired. I guess that’s a given when you have to raise an Avatar.
I can totally imagine Korra also wanting to wear it, but she’d be so little the headpiece would completely cover her.
EDIT: Added baby Korra. I made the hat even bigger for cuteness’ sake.
